Kaathkuni homes believes in designing homestays that are unique, elegant, simple and in sync with nature. Kaathkuni homes believes in the effective use common sense and passive techniques like PSH (Passive Solar Housing),adequate use of sunlight, effective waste management, creative upcycling and DIY lab to imaginations to reality. All this wedded with the concept of slowing down has resulted in creating a place called HOME for the guests. A place where patrons enjoy the warmth of home and the ease of a homestay. A place where minimum is maximum! A place where they enjoy the experience of family cooking or relish a home cooked meal by our inhouse chef. A place they call HOME and long to return again and again!
The Journey of Kaathkuni Homes
Though the Homestay Policy of the state seems to come up for the rescue to hold back the people of Uttarakhand and provide local employment to the unemployed youth.
With the same vision, Capt. Sarabdeep Singh & Hari Chand Dhali left their well-settled job and reversed migrated to their homeland and started Kaathkuni Homes in Dehradun.

- Hari Chand being a mechanical engineer handled the improvement and operations in the Automotive Company.
- Mrs Pushpinder, Who takes care of Social Media and Digital marketing has learnt everything from scratch all on her own.
The pandemic has given a significant push to Kaathkuni Homes. So the traveller has gotten to know about the alternative accommodation (Homestays) facilities apart from the Hotels.
Being at one of the prime locations of Dehradun, Kaathkuni Homes gives you a slow living experience, which everyone aspires to have in this fast world. There every villa has been designed keeping in mind the need of today’s travellers (Especially family & Friends groups). Each Villa has its own fully equipped kitchen, Big Lawn, Cosy Living/Drawing area and other modern facilities engulfed in nature.
